How This Might Matter works

Introduction
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using This Might Matter on the web, iPhone, and Android. By creating an account or buying Premium, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Questions? Email support@mightmatter.com or visit https://mightmatter.com.
The service
This Might Matter is a voice-first place to capture thoughts, connect them into streams, and come back to how your thinking changes over time.
You can start on the free plan. Some features need a Premium subscription, which is described below.
Premium subscriptions
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. You can choose a monthly or yearly plan. After the current period ends, the subscription renews automatically and you are charged again unless you cancel first.
Cancel anytime in the store where you subscribed:
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions
- Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions
- Web: use Manage Subscription on the Subscription screen
If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not offer refunds except where the store or the law requires them.
What Premium unlocks
Premium unlocks the deeper reflection tools in This Might Matter:
- Ask questions across your saved thoughts
- Search by meaning, not only exact words
- Weekly Reflections that surface themes and open loops
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for the thoughts you capture. Do not share your password. You can delete your data from Settings.
Acceptable use
Use This Might Matter for your own thinking. Do not use it to break the law, harm others, or try to disrupt the service.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be at https://mightmatter.com/terms-of-use. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
